There is already enabled tssao. Even if ssao is working, we can't tweak it through configs.Do you recommend activating SAAO?

I've been testing in initial scene and the first town (important, my testing may vary in other places). These are my findings on handheld:
TEST 1:
Switch set to 1500/460/1600mhz
Game set to 720p base, no dynamic resolution.
No sharpening filter, but tmaa is enabled.
Results: IT LOOKS SO FRICKING GOOD. Not very playable though, it drops regularly and it feels like game speed is lower.
TEST 2:
Switch set to 1300/460/1600mhz
Game set with 720p as base, but scaling down to 85% of 720p when needed (dynamic resolution).
No sharpening filter, but tmaa is enabled.
Results: Runs fine, but sometimes when rotating the camera there's 1 second of stutter since it adjusts resolution. If you are okay with it it's a good experience.
TEST 3:
Switch set to 1300/460/1600mhz
Game set at 85% of 720p base resolution, with no dynamic resolution.
No sharpening filter, but tmaa is enabled.
Results: Looks way better than base settings, stable 30FPS. Might be the best way to play?
TEST 4:
Switch set to 1300/460/1600mhz
Game set at 75% of 720p base resolution, with no dynamic resolution.
No sharpening filter, but tmaa is enabled.
Results: Works at 30FPS as expected, and it should have a good overhead compared to Test 3. CPU clocks could be lowered and it should work aright
Any of the tests looked miles better than the original settings. tmaa shouldn't affect too much performance, and it's more preference just like sharpening.
Are you able to upload the updated config file for each of the settings?
Does this work on SX OS?
Sure, wait a few minutes and I'll edit the post.
Bless you, in terms of OC'ing...I've never figured out how to do it on SX OS (lack of research). Is that an extra step required? Or do the config files automatically OC it.
No.do i need the config and eff files in romfs since nothing is being overwritten?
Just wait.[request] can someone try to make a 60fps patch? pls
Thanks I also use your other 60fps patches btw its goodJust wait.

I got the setting info from here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/xenoblade-chronicles-2-graphics-settings.529436/ so thank the author from that page.
You have location in first post.Where is the (ini) file location that needs to be amended - Atmosphere SD Card. Thanks
+1 for how to get this to work on SX OS!
EDIT:
How am I able to overclock my Switch? I'm currently on SX OS.

I just signed up to say thanks to OP and thought I would share the impact of modifying the config file.
The game looks gorgeous with the modified config file.
Doesn't seem to be impacted so much by performance so far with a small OC.
I will play more in a few hours and see the impact.
The change I made was to copy paste @thieve config file and I applied Torna resolution tweak from the XC2 thread.
