It was the Playstation codename (after it left the "Play Station" name from nintendo) like revolution for wii, dolphin for Gamecube, PSX for Playstation. The PSX codename was used by magazine publisher if I remember well, that's why this name was used by most first players._Chaz_ said:Good question.
