which one, and it's really not able to be played even in offline modes?

That would be the Lost Sands, which happens between 2 and 3, if I remember correctly

it is forgotton sands as pointed out but the drm was updated to a degree where the game can be played offline, you need to be online to start the game though, after that you are free to go offline

thanks, for clearing that out.

What's the current community's choice? It's not available in my region... I'll pirate it if I think it's good xD

Risen 1 at £3.74 ($5?).

What I've bought in the sale so far...

*snip*
Good god, all with your own money? Wow, impressive I must say. I've bought tons of games too, but almost all via Russians/TF2.... And all for resale.
Bulletstorm, and Oblivion goty, New flash deals.

I enjoyed Bulletstorm I completed it for the first time 2 days ago. It was pretty short though but the melee/gun system really works well imo. It's supposed to run like shit on a lot of systems though, I never had issues.
Was going to pick Oblivion GOTY up till I saw it was even more expensive for the Russians :( Won't do it now, have it pirated already (a few times actually, superb game)

Yeah, Gaming is my hobby and that's where I spend most of my money, I only got into pc gaming about 2 years ago and steam summer sale is normally the highlight of my year, I tend not to think about what I spend, lol. This year has probably been my least favourite summer sale but I guess I can't complain about the games I've picked up, I really would have liked to see a lot more older games in the sale aswel :(

And this is my initial thoughts.

My plan for this summer sale is to purchase Rayman Origins on a discount which I finally fulfilled as part of a 50% off as chosen by the community. I was afraid that that game was not going to be placed on sale since it ends in two days.

Other than that game was also Just Cause 2 for 3.84 even though my PC is not capable of running it yet but saving it for later. Also Terraria for 2.49 to gift to a friend in hopes of some multiplayer.

I won't buy any more than that since previously I have spent money on some games that were not quite to my liking and don't want that to happen again.

Has anyone purchased Arma II and played it? I was thinking about it, but I looked at gameplay videos, and it honestly looks really boring. Could anyone tell me if it's actually fun?

There is a demo, type "arma 2 free" into steam search.

I bought it today, It can come across as boring, it's not exactly action packed, It's the most realistic army combat sim I have ever played, I don't mean graphic wise. I like it but I can see it not being a lot of peoples cup of tea.

If you're looking for something where your shooting people left right and centre and action packed, the games not for you.

I can't stop buying stuff. But lucky for me, Steam store has been broken for about 24 hours.

My store page has been fine and I was up most of the night and day playing steam games/checking flash deals.

Very late reply, sorry.
Anyways, turns out the servers for Steam were broken for my ISP, which is located in Florida. Many complaints came in, but it fixed like 4 hours after of my original post.

Everyone i've ever talked to said it's bland and boring. The DayZ mod is the only redeeming factor, and I hear the creator of it is a moron.

I purchased it yesterday and installed DayZ, i have only played DayZ and can say that's fun trying to stay alive to find a weapon.

cannot brag about anything I want from today's deals so I have snatched up everything else that was in my wishlist besides 6 items which just cost a little too much right now. All in all I cannot complain too much about these sales, my wishlist was 17 games when it started and lord knows I have had more than the 17 in that list. Only part where things seem to have come apart are the flash deals in ways due to there not being enough to cycle through over the week but for what its been worth I had fun. Till winter time

Bioshock for $5, SPAZ for $2.50, Bastion for $3.75, Psychonauts for $2.50, Torchlight for $3.75, Portal 2 for $5...

Pretty shit daily deals
Holy shit, talk about being spoiled.
I mean all those titles were on sale already. And if you haven't got Torchlight now already you just don't want it. They are practically giving that game away :)
I was really hoping for another 5 USD CS Source deal, like it was about a month ago.

very underwhelming sale. was hoping for challenges like all the other ones.

ended up just emptying my steam wallet on some old wishlist items that have been 75% off or better this whole sale, Future Wars, The Maw and others of that ilk.
