Gaming Steam Summer Sale 2012 Thread

Well officially over now :/
Managed to get hold of another copy of Skyrim for a decent price, but that's it.

motherf******, was waiting on jade empire to drop to a decent price during the sale, bought it yesterday at 50% off due to thinking it wouldn't go any lower, and today they drop it to 75% off....sods law strikes again

Out of all the games to become a daily the day after the sale, I thought I had bad luck with steam until I read you're post. unlucky m8.

Not bad considering I started the sale with like $16 in my wallet. Although now I have like... $2.

I planned to spend $50 and only get Arkham Asylum/City, Rayman Origins and Sonic Generations and ended up getting all these games. Such is life.

Not bad, for about the price of a retail game, I got several stellar games.

And if it counts, I got The Last Remant for free on Steam from Green Man Gaming thanks to some credit I had. It's on sale for $3 there!

damn this summer sale sucked i mean the sale had good deals but there was no last chance day like last year and there was no ticket thing like last year(or coal during the winter sale)

I was hoping for a last chance day, I missed many days of good deals when I was overseas.

I was hoping for a last chance day, I missed many days of good deals when I was overseas.

Well they sort of countered this by launching their Mobile app. You could easily purchase games on the go with that.
Not ideal I guess, I'm disappointed by the last day too.
My purchases:

+ 2 x Assassins Creed 2 Deluxe + 1 x L4D Bundle (personal use)
Take note that just about all these titles are aimed at reselling with a profit, I've spent quite a bit on this sale but I'll get it all back + more.

You have buyers for them titles or you bought them assuming you will sell them?

Bit of both, the top titles will go the fastest probably. There are loads of people doing the same at the moment, so the pricepoint isn't ideal atm.

Also, is there a winter sale too on Steam?
