Finally finished my placement matches, after nearly 1 year of playing. Played 6 months+ as a lvl 30 in normals, yesterday was the night I finally decided to take the plunge.

Of course I am prepared. In my last placement matches it was full of trolls really, goddamn that Lee Sin. Sooo toxic, wasn't even funny anymore..... Still, we could have won that game, I fucked up the last fight :'( Pulled Jarvan in the team as a Blitz, while not noticing our mid was bot lane farming for some reason.
Felt bad man, if I won that game, I would have been Silver IV, and it was sooooo close. We both lost 1 nexus turret already, so next fight would be deciding!

Today is my 1 year anniversary on playing LoL. Pretty pleased where I am, I only have 450 wins or so in that time, that's not an awful lot, but it's not bad either! Played a shitload against bots when I didn't have time to actually play

Yessir, it is! Glad for you! My friend had to go from Silver V to Silver IV too, it took him 1 month and 4 promotion series Scary to say the least....
I've played 2 solo queue matches so far, lost both. Sad

Yeah same, it's a big motivation really.
I'm thinking of looking for a gold rated Team to let me in, that way you get the skin and it shouldn't be that hard to pull off...
Maybe even make 1, Twisted Treeline Ranked, I think me and my friends aren't that far off of Gold so should be possible!
