I'm glad I haven't updated to the 8.x firmware yet then. Still on 7.2.0-17U. Very anxious to see what is "required" to use the exploit.

Wait. What's been released with them? Nothing. Who has access to these "exploits" that magically never get discussed because he thinks he's so clever and grand that even Nintendo doesn't know about his "exploits" and has to keep it "secret"? No one. He's a deluded fool to think Nintendo has no idea about the exploits he finds. If he found it, they did a long time before.

Those exploits have been so helpful and noteworthy to the community! In fact, uh... uh...
Reverse-engineering what? What has he made that we can actually verify? 90% of his loltwitter is gloating and likely photoshopped/terribly vague pictures.

Homebrew went to hell after idiots like geohot/eg0verflow and others invaded. Then it just became "piracy pls" and an ego-stroking contest.
ask actual devs if they are useful.......if you dont understand something doesn't mean its useless,it just means your clueless

What's been released or even made with it? After all, they're useful, aren't they? lol.

ctrulib man, it's been made from the reverse engineering smealum made on the 3DS and it allows people coding homebrews for the 3DS, anyway I won't try to convince you further, afterall if you want to believe all the shit you say it's your problem...

the yeti-3ds homebrew program, i will try dumb it down....before you can make stuff you have to map out the hardware and software to know how it works and how to use it......this is very difficult and time consuming work, smealum has released a LOT of info which genuine devs can use to make their own homebrew without having to do all the work themselves

Without an exploit the "releases" are useless.

Um how bout any homebrew app or game that people are working on right now? Nothings really been released yet because we only just got access recently to use it for the 3ds through gateway. Not only that but it takes more than a few weeks to develop your own specific code exploit or game or app. Quit being a dick bro.

Just because you havent been paying attention doesnt mean you can jump in and be like, "Rawrz yous guys blowz big donkey nuts and dont know what the f**k yourz talking about. Smea doesnt do sh*t!!"

Basically what your doing is making us all think your really saying, "Look at me while i make a complete tottering ass of myself."

Just freaking chill out okay. It will get released when it gets released.

Lets just take a couple breaths here.

So, what homebrew apps do you think will begin development after this exploit has been released?

Just my opinion, but it'd probably be wise to ignore this guy. I smell flame bait.

--

How long does anyone think it'll be before someone finds a way to abuse the exploit?

My hopes are around a month or two, but we don't really know until we actually see the whole thing about smea's exploit, I have a 4.x 3DS and a Gateway so I'm not that much into a hurry around this :P

for those who think playing with code is easy, then buy Petite computer and try to make yourself a program with basic. I respect those who have that talent. I am hoping for a great SNES emulator (Mega Man X2 and three) Also a really good sega one as well.

I'm genuinely concerned about smealum saying piracy isn't possible with SSSPwn. Does that mean we won't have enough control of the system? What homebrew really is possible if we aren't able to play games with this level of code exec?

I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
