Pretty much yeh.
Steam also contributes with sales n what not.
Cheaper games and a gigantic selection of indie games is what is keeping PC gaming alive.
And well, the elitists that spend thousands on gaming rigs.

For me, a simple console will do everything.
I can't be arsed to sit behind a desk like a anti-social hermit all day long.
Console + telly works perfectly.
Especially with friends over.
PC+Telly works perfectly.

Do console games even have local multiplayer anymore?
Only a few, many are focusing more on online multiplayer now.
Nintendo is one of the few that offers the most local multiplayer games.
Other consoles its dying out. Besides the few sports games, battle front, COD, gears of war.....

Cuphead is the one game on this list that I 100% absolutely loved. One of those rare games I know I'll always play a few times every year, its just so charming and good.

A Hat In Time is a close second, it's basically a better Mario game. ;O;

I always think it'd make more sense to not include multi platform titles that were in another voting before. Nier Automata leads at the moment and it was also in the PS4 voting.
I agree. Makes it seem... Pointless..

My vote goes for Nier: Automata. Although Cuphead is a great game, Nier deserves some recognition.

Pretty sure Cuphead will win on the Xbox One poll.

Well for me it would be Prey or Shadow of War but none of them are present in the poll, yet it has stuff like Torment.

BotW is playable on PC it could be there too lol.

You say "only a few", but then you provide the very examples that prove that it isn't dying out. It's not as prevalent as back when two controllers were standard*, but I think it's more a result of local multiplayer (hotseat) not being that popular anymore rather than the cause.

*...which is kind of ironic, because AFAIK the switch is the first console where you actually get two controllers by default
