The long awaited Octo expansion now has a release date! Nintendo just announced that the dlc will drop tommorow, June 13th!

I was running on auto pilot at like 12AM and I accidentally bought the full splatoon 2 game instead of the octo expansion, I already owned the game physically now I have two copies ;-;

I'm thinking of going digital anyway, just so i can keep another cart game in the slot.

Yeah I kind of like it being digital, feels nice being able to swap from Blazblue to Splatoon 2 without having to get up and change the cartridges, now I just gotta sell the spare splatoon 2 cartridge I got :P

I don't have this game, I had tried to get it and almost did for $30 but I lucked out. I'm glad they expanding the single player mode, hope more comes. I dunno if I'll have enough people to bother with multiplayer in a private setting. :ninja:

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
