Me and my friend were speculating whether or not the 5.5.1 firmware has the ability to force you to update in order to use the browser, similar to the 3DS. Since there hasn't been a new update after 5.5.1, we don't know if that feature secretly resides in 5.5.1's browser.

3DS introduced that new browser feature ever since 9.9 and up. By the time Wiiu 5.5.1 came out, 3DS was on 10.5.0.
Do you think it's possible that when Nintendo updates, it'll pretty much ruin it for a lot of users? I know that the Wiiu is at the end of it's life and probably won't receive an update. We're guessing that they'll release one final update once Zelda Breath of the Wild comes out.
