Any reason for this? Even if the drive is turned off I can't connect unless I completely unplug it from the back of the Wii U. Same on both sysNAND and redNAND. Can connect without the USB drive plugged in to the Wii U, can't connect when it is plugged in.
I've got both usbs plugged into a hardrive in the back and gamecube adapter in the front 2... can connect fine
Very odd. I can't figure it out for the life of me. The only thing it could be is the powered hub I am using. But why would that effect the network adapter?

It works perfectly fine for switching between drives (one for vWii & one for Wii U), but I cannot connect to the network with it plugged in to the Wii U. I guess I'll get a dual drive dock instead. The only thing I can think of is that the wiiu is trying to use it as a ethernet adapter
That's what I was just thinking also. I'd hate to order something else and have it do the same thing.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
