No, signatures are stupid. It's always either:
1. A god damn referral link.
2. A list of what flash card(s) and color DS they have, plus games they are playing.

I only enable signatures so I can download Narin's cheat files.

I couldn't care less for signatures. These fucking referral links already mentioned by DeMoN annoy the hell out of me, too. If I was mod here I wouldn't allow them.

Sigs with pics are cool. Since I'm so easily amused, I like those kind the best. But I hate people who link to their topics like in bigass fonts and stuff. Sure my sig pic links to Most Replies, but I don't have it in like hugeass letters.

And I read sigs sometimes, if it's colourful or pretty looking.

I sometimes get distracted by flash signatures.

Myself I link various things of interest to the threads I usually find myself posting in (video issues, rom hacking and my 4shared site (OK that one is maybe not as interesting but I stick stuff up on there some people are interested in), I really should stop though as guests do not have them as standard.

Rarely. Graphics are more likely to get my attention, so if there's text and a graphic then I'm more likely to notice it.

It really winds me up when people dodge the signature dimensions rule by having a wall of text that fills half the page down there, or stack a large chunk of text under a full-size image. Sure I know it doesn't take ages to load, but that's valuble screen real estate you're taking up down there!
