HDD not recognized/working anymore

Up to now I have been running atmosphere and installing games via HDD (docked) without issue, I haven`t made any changes but now it appears the HDD is not recognized anymore?....I hear the disc spinning but power light is not on. So the HDD does not show up in tinfoil or goldleaf.

Did you try plug it into PC and confirm the hdd drive is not bad itself?

    There are ways to disable this by creating cheat codes, but this requires knowledge of the PS1 hardware.
