Hacking Help: noob jtag info needed asap

You would need to RGH same as any other slim for DLC & XBLA. Not sure I'd make the trade. I'd be looking to trade for one that is already RGH'd. Not like there is a shortage of them and less effort. Make that trade and you've still got to buy the stuff/Pay someone else to RGH it for you.

i know no matter what i was gonna end up buying a R-JTAG kit or something close to that due to not many people around selling jtaged(and so-on) systems, and most are selling 360's with 20-60gb HDD and they want $150-$250 for them, and ebay is about the same just most the systems are old Xenon and so-on

where i live is about a 2 hour drive from Cincinnati, or Dayton, we are just 5mins. from Maysville, KY

so yeah anyway i go, selling or trading, i knew i was more than likely gonna have to buy a kit

is there any diff. in DVD+R DL & DVD-R DL's?
and last...... is it okay for me to use the IMGBURN software to burn with my drive: SuperMulti 16X DVD(+/-)R/RW 12X RAM (+/-)R DL LightScribe SATA drive

I'd advice getting an iHAS drive (you can hack it to flash the burner max firmware to it) or getting a drive that is compatible with the Burner Max Payload tool
Burn them with Imgburn at 2.4x speed.
XGD3 games need to be burned with that drive in order to get everything on the disc.
XGD2 games don't need it.
Dragons Dogma doesn't work from a burned disc btw.

Be sure to patch everything with ABGX tho!

well i came across this when looking for the ihas124 but it does not say what it really is... another person on another forum also points to this drive as it is cheap

at this time the ebay seller does not have any drives for the burning

If it's not an iHAS B drive then you'd need to use the Burner Max Payload tool ;]
It makes no difference tho if you hack it or use the tool.
It does the job.

You need a NAND-X to dump the NAND so that's one thing you need for sure.
I'd personally go for a Coolrunner 3 lite if you're RGHing it.
But I vaguely remember you saying you have a Xenon?
Then you must get a Xenon R-JTAG kit.

my friend has that, we was going to trade but he backed out, and i ended up finding someone with a 360 Slim that wanted my PS3

Then get a Coolrunner 3 lite.
As for the NAND-X, you'd first have to find out what Slim you have.
If you have a V2/V4 Corona, then you'll need to get a SD dumper.

NAND-X is roughly 20 quid, update cable is like 5 quid and the CR3 Lite is maybe 30-40.

kinda need US prices on that lol, i've only really been on that modcentral place

also on a side-note: this place has been THE BEST for helping me, on 3 other boards i have only got a TOTAL of 8 post from people, they have been NO HELP, but, You and this board has been the best!
