How to edit Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - easy

Super Easy Xenoblade Chronicles 2 save editor

I Have windows XC2 Save editor for people who want to customize their save
Check it out here and github if you would like to contribute

Things to be aware of:
Make sure you make a backup of your original save.
There can be bugs in just maxing out everything.
I recommend running template and looking threw it to understand the structure
also you can comment out values you don't want changed in the script with //


what you need

check occasionally​
  1. Extract the XC2-Editor.zip
  2. backup your bf2savefile.sav
  3. copy into XC2-Editor
  4. run 010 editor
  5. open your save (bf2savefile.sav)
  6. click on run template -> select bf2savefile.1sc we downloaded from earlier. "

  1. click on run script -> select bf2savefile.bt
run script.png

Done !


Your output will look similar to this

You must have one of the item before it is Maxed out

Use your items and rerun

the save got loaded, it regconized it as a new game plus save too. But besides that it booted to an black empty map.
Menu entires like soldier and blades where locked, teleportation was avaible but no place to telport too.
No models (rex) where shown.

Used: Checkpoint.
(did create a backup of unedited save file before editing like any one should do so nothing lost)

It shouldn't be too hard to write a saveeditor from that.
So I might sit down and write some JScode to make a webeditor for it, if that's cool with you. (And if I have enough time to)

I don't own or play the game myself though.
So I can only go from what's posted here.

Sorry to ask, I had this working last night, now when I try to load the template, it says "WARNING Line 642: Optimizing array of structures may cause incorrect results. Use <optimize=true|false> to override." Any suggestions?

Guys if your adding cores you haven't got in game yet make sure it matches the following values

So i have 99 common and rare now but still 0 legendary I opened the save with the mods u made in my 010 editor and it says crystallistbox is set to 99 but that does not show in game

I tested this template and somehow most of the stuff you edit dont work at all.Might be doing something wrong..or not. Level works, but for stats change it stay as original. so no 999 luck etc. the game wont change it. However I am glade that I can manipulate trust and Arts Level. as for character I tried to disenable Party member and put other driver that has low level and normal stats (Jin and Malos? Hard to tell with no name clue like in the blade section) but it doesn´t work either. no one was disenable and no change.

i tried several times but the game loads up with zero cores, and ive edited it several times. any help? when i go on 010 and go to the exact value, it says the count is at 99. if you need my save file here it is: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ComeTEi9_8N-RBDgXFPoo27B93LvsINQ/view?usp=sharing

I have tried changing blades bonded driver and even tried setting popi to have different blade but i just started game + and to early in to know if this can be achieved .

Sorry for being a nub but just wanted to ask can this max out blade affinity grids? Every single rare blade I have in my 1st playthrough is nearly done
Just wanted to know for my 2nd playthrough mainly for Torna blades/T-elos

Just wanted to know for my 2nd playthrough mainly for Torna blades/T-elos

If your referring to New Game+ your affinity charts stay the same. even with blades you have to loose for story to replay ;) the will resume where left off

    i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

    Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
