:yaybreasts:
Well, when mod's say it is against the rules, we have to take their word on it... so it's against the rules, but it's not... hmmmm....

As far as I'm concerned it's inappropriate for the board (anime women with large breasts, which she happens to be gripping).

just send all those to me!!JPH said:Yes, lovely avatar.
BTW, I won't admit I was wrong for removing it, yo.
Anime women gripping their breasts with a lot of cleavage aren't exactly ideal avatars, if you ask me.
Thanks for being a prick, and welcome to my virtual shitlist lol

Just sayin', really, it's free and there's no reason for you to complain.fischju said:Thanks for the extremely important public service you provide, JPH. But what is with signing posts "-JP"? Too busy to add that H?
i think the thing that bothers many (ok, at least me) here is the blatant hypocrisy involved.JPH said:This little display will cost you.
Also, djgarf can have whatever the hell he wants in his avatar. Who are you to tell him differently?

Bold #1: Totally agree.zidane_genome said:I wouldn't "whine" about a mod's actions if they can CLEARLY explain why they do something...
If I were to, let's say, just go and do nothing but flame people for the next 100 posts, and I get banned... I'm not gonna ask why...
If, let's say, a mod removes my avatar, tells me to read the rules, and when I do, I can find nothing related, then ask the mod, TWICE why it's inappropriate, and he refuses to answer, and 40 hours later I start a thread to get to the bottom of it, and then said Mod suspends me for trying to get his attention with a clearly biased avatar... I think that Mod "has some splain'in to do"!!
I'm Mod on several different boards, and even have a board of my own for my WoW guild... and if someone breaks the rules, they are punished... but when you make up rules, and punish people, and can't explain why, that's just bad modding. You'd have a serious reprimand coming if this were my board... but it isn't, and therefore I cannot do anything, but pray you get what's coming to you.
Topics like this do nothing but rile people up and start flame wars.zidane_genome said:but when you make up rules, and punish people, and can't explain why, that's just bad modding.
I wasn't going to post here, but from the rules:
If you have an issue with a member or moderation decision contact the member in question or a staff member via PM. DO NOT air your grievances publicly in the original topic or otherwise.QUOTE said:Your posted and linked images, avatars and signatures are constantly reviewed by the moderating staff. Images or content that the GBAtemp Staff find are too big or that are deemed inappropriate including obscene, pornographic, vulgar and any other distasteful or sexually explicit material will be censored, edited or removed with OR without notice; and may result in the member being warned, suspended or banned.
It's hardly a made up rule. It states that images/content that an individual staff member finds inappropriate will be removed. It also states that it will be done with OR without notice. So it's not bad moderating, it's not something he made up on the spot, it's something you overlooked.
Also, one of the other rules is:
