Hardware Is R4i Gold 3DS compatible with 2gb+ memory cards?

So I finally made the switch from DSLite to 3DS XL. Big changes. Getting a R4i Gold 3DS to play that fabulous DS library except this is honestly my first time dealing with R4. I've always used a CycloDS Evolution with my DSLite. (which has served me well all these years)

Anyway, that aside, I was thinking of buying this micro sd with hopes it will be compatible with the R4i Gold 3DS. Anybody know if it is? (i made the silly decision of already ordering it but want clarification from people with experience)
