Please show me where I said it is obvious but anyway, just look at the last commit on GitHub. From what time was it? Around 10 years ago? So you trust software using methods which are outdated/obsolete since 10 years and never ever saw a bugfix in that time?
There you say it for yourself: WUP Installer is abandonware. So why are you still using it?
Lastly keep in mind that I said "is in the process of switching", not "switched away". My point was that these YT videos slow down said process a lot.
