Nintendo is beginning to reopen its North American repair centers

It's been a while since Nintendo closed their repair centers worldwide as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic back in March, but it seems things will soon return to normal. Nintendo will be slowly reopening their repair facilities across North America, with hardware to be repaired depending in the order of when they received it. Those waiting on active repair orders can expect an email of when you'll be allowed to send in your product to Nintendo's centers. If your item's warranty expired during the time that Nintendo wasn't allowing repairs, they'll still honor the warranty and will allow customers to send their product in for free. Those that already sent in their hardware and are awaiting a change in status can check Nintendo's official repair page to see any new updates.

As we continue to follow the preventive measures put in place related to the COVID-19 pandemic, in accordance with local guidelines, some of our repair centers are now able to gradually restart services. We are working as quickly and safely as possible to get you playing again and appreciate your understanding.

While repair centers ramp up operations, repair orders will be prioritized in the order that they have been set up and received, including products currently held at repair centers that were in-process and not completed due to the closures.

Well, too late for me. Already replaced the antenna in my right joycon due to it constantly disconnecting from my Switch.

I'm so pumped, NCAA football video game is back after a 10 year hiatus, coming to SeriesS/X, PS5 in July.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Wish they would let us play the NCAA football 14 on newer xbox, its one of the only games I love and own on disc still, that is not back compatible, bs.

@BigOnYa My dad recently bought a spare Series X off of me, got game pass, and saw Madden '24 on Game Pass, decided to try it out.

...He was a bit taken aback by the 60GB download size. Poor guy's still living in the 90s!

Lol charging your dad's classic unless he's the type that doesn't like taking things like that
  • AdenTheThird @ AdenTheThird:
@K3Nv2 He was looking into consoles for his house anyway (for my younger siblings and himself) and I had a spare XSX and Switch I ended up selling him at pretty steep cuts. I would just give them to him, but I did buy them with the intent to sell them... and college is super expensive.
