if they designed the game already then it's cost effective with having a story written and game play mechanics. If it's cheap enough and they can afford to bank off of nintendo switch then why not rayman did it and that was a ps vita game.
they could have just made the ps2/ps1 backward compatible, and could have figure out a better way on making the ps3 BC, but without paying alot of money or if they really coudn't do it then they should have bundle it with playstation plus.Meanwhile, 12-year-old FFXII gets a port from PS2, nobody bats an eye. Remakes/remasters happen all the time for every system, at least Nintendo has the excuse that WiiU sold poorly. Sony is gonna remake every PS2/PS3 game the way they're going, and those systems did not sell poorly.

IkrOP needs to stop making stupid treads
ikr i guess sony just don't have time for thatThere is absolutely no reason PS1 Classics are not on the PS4.
The only gripe is they put $60 price tag on them.
because its a lazy way to make dollar. The point is why remaster a game like that when you can just port it over as VC it would save a bunch of money for us who bought it once or twice
while i agree to wiiu remasters some of your points are already proven false lolAs someone who has bought every Nintendo console since the N64 except the Wii U, I strongly disagree with this.
Pros for porting or remastering Wii U games for Switch:
Cons:
- Due to the low sales figures, if Nintendo were to remaster these Wii U games for the Switch, people would get to play great games they never previously experienced, opening them up to a much wider audience.
- The games are being run on more powerful hardware, there is now the possibility of a graphical and/or framerate upgrade.
- You can now play Wii U classics portably!
- Better, more responsive and more accurate motion controls in-game; 2005-technology Wii Remote vs. 2016-technology Joy-Cons!
- HD rumble, baby! FEEEEL THE GAME!!!
- They are the complete editions, so no additional purchases needed for DLC!
- You can play Wii U games without switching (ha!) consoles.
- No more excruciating download, boot-up and load times!
- It makes Wii U owners angry.

1 yes thats is the main reason
2- sure
3-for sure
4- not really so far the games that have been remaster dont feature much ir or tilting tbh.
5-really? not even switch games use hd rumble... so far besides the crap 1-2 switch no game ever even used hd rumble remotely decently, they just use normal rumble wiiu remasters included.
6-nintendo just announced dlc for pokken tournament s yah dx editions can still get dlc wich you have to buy
7-sure
8- if the game has a patch like upcoming pokken or you buy it on e shop you still have to download, sure loadtimes are smaller but they are still there.
4 you mean optional wiimote controls right? besides mario and sonic olimpic and nintendoland(multiplayer), no game actualy required a mandatory wiimote to play, they all played just fine with the gamepad or wiiupro them having optional wiimote controls doesnt make them mandatory or required, i never used my wiimote on wiiu games since i hate them lol.4: Many Wii U games required the use of a WiiMote for motion controls.
5: Literally every first-party Switch game so far uses HD rumble.
6: It's a Bandai Namco game, Nintendo didn't develop or publish it.
8: I said "excruciating load times". The Switch patches take 10 seconds at most to download and install. That's the polar opposite of excruciating. Wii U apparently takes many minutes.
The SEGA produced Triforce Arcade System, a modified PC for MKGPDX and Luigi's Mansion Cabinet, and the CDi. Let's not mention Mario's FUNdementals and the Mobile games Nintendo is makingwhat nonnintendo platform did mariokart and zelda go on? they added higher res on old game, or a remaster. they adding the extra titty to make it sell again, just ask Total Recall
