Forgot to mention.
Well, if people stop voting for these hateful and greedy politicians, we could reduce gun deaths, fund teachers better and, yes, help reduce the bullying of LGBT people.
You don't think the people that are working on this, aren't thinking of these things?
I'm sure people didn't think we have uterus implants, and now we do. Not even every female have the perfect "motor" for birth. In fact, some are infertile.
Which is why I was careful to qualify my definition of "male", with the statement "born healthy, with no birth defects".
I understand that there are conditions that would prevent either male or female human beings from being able to participate in natural reproduction.
Those are anomalies, though. If they were not anomalies, mankind would never have survived. MOST males and females, born healthy with no birth defects, will match the definitions of "male" and "female", and even if they HAVE birth defects, are born sans testes or without ovaries, are still, essentially, either men or women. Unless they are one of the 1,500-2,000 live births that are actual intersex, or were born with Klinefelter's Syndrome.
I am not uneducated on this. I refuse to argue anything I haven't studied, myself.
MOST, as in more than 95% of all humans, will be male or female, from birth, and that will not change, no matter what they do to their natural bodies later in life, by means of voluntary hormone treatments or invasive, mutilative, irreversible surgery.
None of this should be a decision that a child is mature enough to make. Leave the kids out of it.
SURGERY TO ALTER YOUR BODY IS NOT NATURAL. Especially when it is cosmetic or elective, with the sole purpose of altering one's outward appearance.
If I knew someone was getting surgery to get taller (which is a thing), then they would eventually be six feet tall, if that was what they were going for. They would PHYSICALLY be taller. But it wouldn't be natural, and is just artifice.
Just like "gender-affirming therapy". It is artificial, not natural, and not something I am in support of.
But I would never in my life try to stop you from doing what makes you happy. I simply don't feel like playing along.
Where is the harm in that? Does the whole world have to agree with you before YOU feel validated?
I would offer that you should care far less what other people think about you, and just do what pleases YOU. Fuck anyone else's opinions. If they don't matter, why do they matter so much?
Especially to folks who aren't "trans" and never planned to transition in the first place. You literally and figuratively have no skin in this game. You just want to virtue signal, and it's getting old.
You can signal your virtue without bashing others. I'm not bashing ANYONE. I am just stating why I don't agree with this cult mentality behind the idea that you can choose your gender, and that everyone else has to obey your FEELINGS.
No one is special, and your feelings are no more valid, and no less, than anyone else's.
So maybe EVERYONE just shut the fuck up and let other people live. How about THAT?
