Either way I don't think it's so much the console as the developers and the games they make. Think about it for just a sec, why do people still play SNES/NES even thoug it's an old system? It's because those games are classic.
This topic assumes that the PS3 is better becuase it is catching up with the 360. This logic is ofcourse faulty since "catching up" implies that the 360 is in fact ahead at the moment. Key words "at the moment" The PS3 forcast does look bright.
Useless thread. Anyway there's no xbox "exclusives" that I like. And if there happen to be one, I can always get it for pc. And quantity > quality is much better imo. I wouldn't buy 100000 games in a year anyway.

Another thing that aggravates me about the 360 is you can't even store videos on the HD. I went to put some 720p wmvs on there off girls making out with each other and apparently it doesn't let you copy videos to the HDD.
Ps3 on the other hand is like a video on demand machine for me. I have the HDD full of girls making out. I have one where a girl plays wiifit naked. Her name is faith. she's so hot.

I never knew MGS4 kills 60GB PS3s. At least I couldn't find any topic saying that on gamefaqs' board, which has 4660 pages of 15 topics/page.

The PS3's online service isn't that bad, especially considering it's free...it may not be as rich as Xbox Live, but it gets the job done, so it's a welcome alternative to paying 50$/50€ (=75$) a year (which I wouldn't, since I don't play online that much to justify an XBox Live membership...luckily for me, my brother does
). At least it WORKS, unlike certain other online services on other consoles.
Also, I don't think the X360 has that much more exclusives than the PS3...Just think of what's still to come: God of War 3, GT5, Ico 3, FFXIII, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, Killzone 2...Aren't those alone enough exclusive games to justify a purchase?
And don't forget that many of the X360's greatest games aren't exclusive...Oblivion, Bioshock, GTA IV, Call of Duty 4, Devil May Cry 4...
Of course, if you already own an X360, you're not getting as much from your money as if you didn't, but you can't really use that as an argument against the PS3, since the same thing also applies to the X360...if you own a PS3 and are going to purchase an X360, only the exclusive games justify the purchase, since you can already play the non-exclusive games on your PS3...
So, on the X360 you've got Halo and Gears of War, on the PS3 you've got Resistance and Killzone...Isn't it all just a matther of taste, in the end?
It's stupid to say that PS3 owners have no games to play at all, when the PS3 DOES have a good amount of great games...
I, for one, am going to buy a PS3 because of games like God of War 3, Little Big Planet and Ico 3...in fact, GoW3 and Ico 3 alone are enough to make me buy a PS3.
The PS3 may be more expensive, but who cares, so I'll wait until it's cheaper or until I saved enough money - whichever comes first. Why should I miss out on games that look really appealing to me, and buy an X360 instead of the PS3 because of its cheaper price, when it's the PS3 I actually want?
And you may not appreciate it now, but in a few years the blu-ray drive WILL be a worthwhile feature of the PS3...
Just because the PS3 doesn't appeal to your personal tastes, that doesn't mean it sucks...
Another PS3 pricedrop is just around the corner, and soon europe will finally get the Dualshock 3 (hopefully now being bundled with the PS3)

Man, I hate owning a console that I'm always worried the next time I turn it on I may never be able to use it again. Unfortunately, 360 and PS3 both fall into this category.
-sigh- I miss the days when the worst that could happen could be fixed by taking the cart out and blowing in it. But I wouldn't trade some of the games I have played recently to go back, that's for sure.

Link? I never heard of ANY PS3 being broken because of the Masterpiece that is Metal Gear Solid 4.
