Edit: alright guys, so here's the thing , there are slim ps3's downtown (they are all 2nd hand and hacked already) and they cost around 160$.

the thing is, i believe some of them will have overheat issues, i do not trust them since they are 2nd hand, except they do not look terribly in shape.
they look pretty normal most of them.

but they do have completely NEW ps3 slims except now for the new ones the price is very high :l
some shops have them and they sell em for like 320-360$ and i have no idea why.

anyway , what would you guys suggest i get ?
because i plan to eventually replace my fat ps3 with the slim one.

Installed Multiman.

Ps2 games work, just played Gran Turismo 3, Kingdom Hearts 2, Time Spliters, Resident Evil 4, God of War, Rainbow Six and Metal Gear Solid 2. But needs to install to internal HDD.

Ps1 games work off of external hdd, played Tekken 3, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Medal of Honor and Dino Crisis.
Volume is really low though is there a way to increase volume internally in the system.

Yes that the one I used.

Theres also Rebug 4.81.2 modified for 4.82, which means you can install directly to ofw 4.82. No need to install cfw 4.82 and then downgrade to rebug cfw 4.81.

Yes there are, if your slim came with 3.56=< out of the box you can't install it.

Managed to turn on my phat PS3 and load the webpage of @Sasori
My PS3 is Cxxx so I use the NAND downgrade method, but it always says Triggering exploit FAILED 10 times - refresh the page...
I've deleted all the thigns I could delete on my browser and it still does the same...
EDIT: Yes, I have a FAT32 USB stick with the correct file on the root, and it's connected on the FAR RIGHT USB slot
EDIT2: Ok, now I'm stuck at success... I'll wait...

Can someone tell me aproximately how much time it takes since the exploit succeeds and the PS3 shuts down?
I won't power it off but something seems quite off here (Also I need to go in one and a half hours and I don't want anyone on my home to touch my PS3 or return home and see my PS3 still stuck there)

maybe a way to get money again on the ps3 scene but wonder, will one day come that a cfw is released to simply install without any modifications to the console.
