Hardware [Question] Possible to make USB to mPCI-E on non 3G model?

hey there.
As the title says, is it possible to add USB to the mPCI-E slot on the non 3G model of Vita 1K? It does have the pads, but I guess, that some components are missing (and probably software too). But, can it be done?

Yifan tried and failed while inventing the original psvsd - I don't remember the exact reason, though

if you have a vita-1000 your best bet is just to order a new motherboard. aliexpress for instance has 97 pieces of the 3G version motherboards in stock right now. about 35 bucks, all in. ifixit says it takes about 30-40 minutes to replace.
