It only has to serve one purpose - load homebrew. I wouldn't care if the logo/menu was florescent radioactive colours.

Also, if you really followed Smealum, you would realize that smealum is working in nothing but the 3DS. That's kinda your own fault, XD

Well yeah, it's my fault but the thread popped up in the list of new Threads at the Home page and didn't realize it was the 3DS section. XD

If you been keeping up with his twitter, he has confirmed that it works on the latest firmware. While he tested it on a European 3DS, there is no reason to see why it wouldn't on other regions as he also tested and found it working on a 7.0 ish firmware on a USA unit.

You're so funny, I forgot to laugh. I hope that was a joke. If you want ROMs, go with Gateway. Smea's hack has no kernel access, so no free games. Emulators, region lock disabling, etc are all the things feasible with it. Don't be so negative and smarmy.
