SNK 40th Anniversary Collection announced for the Nintendo Switch

SNK and NIS America announced a new Switch release at PAX East 2018 today, in the form of the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection. It'll be a collection of classic SNK games repackaged on the Nintendo Switch, with added bonuses, such as updating the graphics and displaying the games at 1080p, a rewind and savestate feature, and even a cheat mode, for all the included games. SNK did not announce the full list of games that would be included in this anniversary collection, but did reveal some of the games that will be included, noted below:

  • Alpha Mission
  • Athena
  • Crystallis
  • Ikari Warriors
  • Ikari III: The Rescue
  • Guerrilla War
  • P.O.W.
  • Prehistoric Isle in 1930
  • Psycho Soldier
  • Street Smart
  • TNK III
  • Vanguard
  • Victory Road

A limited edition was also announced, which will retail for $64.99, and will include the game, an art book, a soundtrack, and a collector's box, which is available on NIS America's online storefront. More games that will be part of the collection are scheduled to be announced at a later date.

wonder if it'll be the original or gameboy colour version ( i think it was gbc).

    @Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.

    I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
