Please don't get me wrong. I like visiting the US. It does consumerism VERY well. I always fill up a giant suitcase full of junk food that I can't get here. But social equality, healthcare, safety, work life balance, infrastructure, social unrest, politics, etc... they're all a mess in comparison to many other developed countries.
