Two questions:

1 - After installing CBHC, can SD be removed? If not, what happens if I ruin the SD or just stop working?
2 - What will happen if I run the "dont touch me" icons?

I realize I'm ready to have CBHC installed on my Wii U, but these are my only questions.
1. Yes. The sd card can be removed.
2. Your console explodes like a thermonuclear bomb...jokes aside. Nothing happens then. The only thing you do is relaunching cbhc. Not more. But this is not required because it boots at consoles startup.

Hey, I installed HaxChi and CBHC ages ago. I haven't touched my WiiU in ages but I went to use it today.

When I boot, it bootloops. If I hold A I can get to homebrew launcher, but I can't get to the system menu.

I looked at the haxchi config file and it has "sysmenu" as the default. So it CAN load to HBC but cannot get to the CFW sysmenu.

I thought about uninstalling CBHC but then thought if that takes me to a place where I can ONLY bootloop and not even get to HBL, I'll have bricked my console. And I'd rather be stuck without a system menu if the alternative is a brick!

I have a vague memory that I might have fucked up in the installation and done CBHC before Haxchi or something stupid like that, but it was years ago so I can't be certain, and I was just happy to have homebrew working then and didn't need the sysmenu.

What is the best thing to do if I want to have it all working? Install CBHC over? Uninstall something first?

It just loops - WiiU menu loading screen, boop-boop music, then loops after a few seconds.

Tried pressing home, mashing home, holding home. Can't get to cbhc options menu.

If you haven't already saved your otp, make sure you grab that first. A full NAND backup could be helpful to you as well.

As for your symptoms, it sounds like you installed Haxchi over your CBHC title. Put CBHC Installer on your SD card, get into Homebrew Launcher, run CBHC Installer and remove CBHC. (and hope your syshax.xml backup is good)

If you still have the same problem, reinstall CBHC on the same title you used previously.

What about going from haxchi to CBHC though? I'd like to go the CBHC route. I currently just have haxchi installed.
Thx

If haxchi works (you can launch it from a fresh console reboot), then just launch CBHC installer to overwrite that "app" (the NDS game channel which is now haxchi app).
haxchi will become cold boot haxchi.
be sure to read the recommendation to prevent a brick ! (never delete that channel, never format the console, never overwrite that channel by reinstalling a fakesigned NDS game, etc.)

I have a situation I'm unsure what to do about. I bought a Wii U recently and it has haxchi installed, but the nintendo account that was connected to the wii u was removed. Should I buy a DS game with my own account and use it to reinstall haxchi?

If you want Haxchi, that's what you're going to have to do. However, you could just use the browser exploit and Mocha instead.

Ah, yes, portrait mode, surely the best way to film a row of people. If only there were some way to fit a wider shot, at the expense of height... if only...

Wish they would let us play the NCAA football 14 on newer xbox, its one of the only games I love and own on disc still, that is not back compatible, bs.

@BigOnYa My dad recently bought a spare Series X off of me, got game pass, and saw Madden '24 on Game Pass, decided to try it out.

@K3Nv2 He was looking into consoles for his house anyway (for my younger siblings and himself) and I had a spare XSX and Switch I ended up selling him at pretty steep cuts. I would just give them to him, but I did buy them with the intent to sell them... and college is super expensive.
