Hacking Question Where can I find a Switch in 1.0.0 version

If you buy a switch on the internet, you have zero indication as to what firmware it will be on asides from what the seller claims.

It is more reliable to check in store: try checking the serial number on the console in the box (there is a hole cut in the bottom of the box for the serial number to show through) and referring to this thread to determine which firmware the console is running. However, if your store moves stock quickly, it is likely the only stock they will have is more recent releases. If that's the case you will have to take your chances with the scalpers.

I read that I had to have a Switch version 1.0.0 to jailbreak it.

But if I buy a new switch on the internet, will she be in version 1.0.0 please ?

IIRC that was before all of this trustzonehax stuff happened and "a matter of weeks" has since passed. He also said trustzonehax for 2.x/3.x will be released once there is CFW available. So it seems all that's holding back 2.x/3.x users right now is a CFW release.

to answer your actual question you can't find a new or used 1.0.0 switch anywhere, if you wanted one you should have preordered 2.0.0 came out on launch day.
all major retailers were selling 3.0.1 before christmas but you might be able to find a 3.0.0 either new or used second hand but it's going to take looking around

He can find them. It is just super hard. For example here in Czech, there are still 1.0.0 in the stores (if you are lucky enough).

There are users on ebay selling 1.0.0 one for about 380, which isnt too bad that you pay about 15% extra to the scalper , consider that you get the full set just not the tablet. I bought one last week which was a full set with the tablet being on 1.0.0 for 369 which wasn't too bad.

But for friiii games, you need CFW and game dumper, decrypter, installer and so on... And that is gonna take some time.

I was under the impression team xecuter could do something to bypass that and just stick roms in somehow. Thanks for clarifying.

Team Xecuter is going to make "hardmod" which would still work the same. It would allow you to use CFW on any firmware, but you still need the CFW and other stuff.

This is probably what I would recommend if the OP wants to buy a 1.0.0 , I wouldn't really recommend buying a 1.0.0 unless you have a spare switch to play with, and spare money and are patient enough to wait for CFW to come out.
