Kind of noob question, but how am I supposed to get the .wud file from these downloads? I mean, how do you open (or do whatever you have to) with the .nfo files?

EU, yes, US, yes, just would have no idea where to find them.

I know where they have been posted. Newsgroups. alt.binaries.g... wait i probably cant disclose that here lol. I got a few off newsgroups. 23+ GBs a pop. 23 gb is not really large. some Russian dude on a p2p network was sharing 167 TB of stuff....

Is it possible for us to dump our game ourself ? I have a 5.3.2 Wii U and I want to make back up...
yes you can but it will take time depending on the game tough, you need 2 things.

Gecko, run gecko and read fsa and dump all the content folder and then you need dumpine to dump the rpxs/rpl.

sorry to bump this.

So my understanding is that no group is dumping jp releases?
Does anybody know how they dump wud? custom cod3 and wiring a wii u drive to a PC?

that means we have to really on personal dumps and we'll never have access to jp wud/nus keys, right?

That's right no group has released any japanese titles yet.

It's not known how they dump them, probably they are using that ISOU kernel exploit on some old 3.x system.
All drives have unique keys so you can't just hook them up to a PC, getting the drive key requires an ISOU kernel exploit.

Currently the only way is to dump the content and rpx/rpl of a game no other files or format like WUD.

thanks for the reply Crediar.

Do you have any idea how they're getting the wud decryption key with IOSU exploit in place? (is it stored somewhere, encrypted with the common key or something along those lines?)

I know the corresponding NUS decryption of a game is in the title.tik, but will there be a way to find NUS decryption keys (with IOSU hack) for online only stuff like VC or VC vWii?

Does that mean we'll be able to dump our own WUDs once 5.5 IOSU is released? (also dumping out of region games with any region wii u I suppose?)

sorry, I'm just curious how this all works, thanks again^^

Would be great if anyone could post me their MD5 of the .wud would save me wondering if something corrupted or not.
