Could you let me know, which file in the iso handles cards logic and interaction between the other cards?
If you can share this information and let me know the process and tools for working with the file(s) that would be greatly appreciated.
So far I've been messing with EHP and GIM files (using EHP Packer > GimConv > pngout > pngnq > GimConv > EHP Packer > PowerISO), but I'm curious to see if card effects can be altered or even more, adding new cards (i doubt the latter might be possible without crashing the game, but seeing how they added Ultimaya Tzolk'in along with the other bonus cards after the release of the game, I guess its not as impossible as it seems lol).

Everyone who is asking for the patch. Be patient a little while longer. Version 3.0 will be released Christmas of 2021 with lots of more updates to Duelist Slot #3 character stories, overworld text, menu GUI, fixed bugs, and much more. I'll post it on this thread, so just check here at that time. I usually do it right before I go on vacation, so it will be a couple of days before the 25th.

If other people ask after I've posted this, please refer them to this specific post.

I don’t think this dude is working on the patch anymore. His work seems to be privated on YouTube and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s no longer working on it.

Do you still have a patch? I just recently started to play TF6 and was really sad when found out that some of my favorite characters do not have translated story.

it's likely a wrong place to ask, but I tried to cheat no banlist and failed at it.
first I took some random cheat.db and deleted everything between

failed to open safe mode on psp, but cwcheat still opened by pressing select for several sec
cheats like no banlist or max points didnt work at all and umd recognition cheats crushed the game
then I tested it on emulator - with exactly the same effect
then I downloaded fresh jap copy of TF6 and tested on ppsspp - cheat also didnt work as intended.
can someone explain what went wrong?

The following code should disable banlist for good, i think it disables the max copy number aswell:

Hello guys,
I've read all the 45 pages of this thread and I saw a lot of helpful pieces of knowledge, but there doesn't seem to be some sort of a get started or technical guide to help people get into the localization of the TF games.
Are there any materials or documentation you can recommend for a person interested to localize one of the 1st TF games (GX ones) from English to a Cyrillic language like Bulgarian?
What would be the challenges besides the sheer volume of strings for localization?
Where should one start?
I realize my chances of starting and getting this through are less than 1%, but I would be genuinely curious and interested to find out what would it take to do it?
Considering Yu-Gi-Oh has never been localized into my language, card localization may be ridiculous, but maybe story, dialogues and menus will be a feasible task.
I'm also thinking whether any machine/AI translators can help automate the string localization as the language is not as complicated as Japanese, plus some localization (even if not perfect) will be far better than none.

Anyone willing to give me some pointers?

If you were responding to me, I don't understand what this is.

Guys, I really need some help to better understand the structure of the games (TF1 for example) and how to modify different files (what tools etc).

I managed to edit some of the card files into Bulgarian - it seems however the game doesn't display Cyrillic very well - it's very wide (spacing between letters and huge size of the font). Check example below.
Any ideas how to fix this?
