As much as we want homebrew on out consoles, the last thing we want to see is developers abandoning the platform because piracy or script kiddles ruining every single multiplayer seasons.

I'd say it's going to take 2-3 years at the very least, enjoy your 3DS and Wii U hax for the time being.

I speculate that the only way into using an exploit on Nintendo Switch... would be through a modchip installed on the Nintendo Switch in which would glitch the bootloader into loading a file on the SD card.

I'd say Nintendo would've learned from exploits found in apps (such as in-game save exploits, and web browser). So they'd probably have volatile memory allocated to apps in which is designed to close all apps, restart and clear the volatile memory if any memory address is outside the range of where it's supposed to be allocated to.

Even though this is early to say this, it would probably be best to try and work on a modchip for Nintendo Switch as the first solution to exploiting the hardware into using homebrew.

In regards to encryption, it'll be stronger. It'll use more different types of key scrambling techniques, such as XNOR, XAND and XNAND.

But don't give up, I'm sure it can be achieved much sooner, as more things are suggested sooner than later.

How about a flashcart instead of a modchip? Nothing prevents a Sky3DS type cart
Unless of course Nintendo uses active encryption on the cartridges.

XAND and XNAND are basically the same as XNOR and XOR. (Look up boolean logic.)

The reason why 3DS and Wii U were cracked isn't because of poor encryption (they both use AES). It was because of poor implementation.

It isn't "hack proof". Nobody wants to crack the security chip. People have to want to do something before they get it done

People can make it hard but it will be cracked open one day.
I'm sure that people want to hack the Xbox's security, they just can't. You'll see with the Nintendo Switch, some smart people will try to hack it and they won't be able to do it.

We'll see. System hasn't even come out yet. Too early
