Just get a Wii U or a Switch to play BOTW. Besides, emulating games, even on a $5000 PC is always going to give a subpar experience. Emulation is never as reliable as playing the game on it's native hardware. Most emulated games are full of glitches and inconsistencies. From what I have seen, BOTW on CEMU is no exception when it comes to these glitches.
I know there are glitches on emulators, but for exemple in BotW you can increase resolution, framerate and get better colors with graphics packs. I also plan to play games on Dolphin because GC/Wii resolution is hitting my eyes. I gave BotW and emulation in general as an example, i also want to record and edit videos and maybe stream in the future (Lol let's wait for broadband now). I feel like i can't do anything on my actual (shitty) pc.

You should have gone with a full atx motherboard, and a stronger power supply if you ever plan on using dual, triple, or quad gpus. 800-1000W should be a minimum for any good gaming computer imo. You may not plan to use more graphics cards now, but given how quickly gpu's become outdated, adding a second or third gpu is something that most PC gamers will want to do as the years go by. It's a lot cheaper to add additional gpu's than it is to rebuild the PC from the ground up once your original configuration starts to become outdated.
SLI has horrible scaling not to mention alot of games dont even have support for it, its better just to get the most powerful single card you can afford, use it till the next upgrade cycle.

If i want to upgade gpu i can just get a 1060 or 1070 and sell the 1050. It will give me better performance that buying anoter 1050.

D'aw, that lil 1050 is so cute!

See that ^^

Most games I have ever played on PC scale really well with SLI. Usually get about 80-95% scaling. The only games that didn't do well with SLI were older games that weren't coded for SLI. Otherwise, any AAA game produced within the past 8 years or so takes advantage of SLI/Crossfire very nicely.

True. But you will learn quickly in the PC gaming world that you can never have enough GPU power. SLI'ing two high end cards is almost always going to yield better performance than the single more expensive card. The 1050 card you have now is a lower end gpu. As you discover the possibilities with PC gaming, you are most certainly going to be selling that card, and getting a 1070. Then you will come across a game where you want to max out the eye candy even more, and the single 1070 won't cut it. Then you will be looking at the 1080Ti. Then as a couple years pass, the 1080Ti won't be able to keep up with the newest games with graphics settings on ultra high. It's a never ending arms race with PC, but the graphics on a high end PC are stunning, and worth the investment for some:)

Judging by the amount of neckbeards who say you can build a PC that massively outperforms any console for less I can only guess a good gaming PC costs $190 or less.

If you were a smart, patient shopper, you definitely could. With the current pricing on GPUs and ram? Not so much.

Yeah just gotta be very smart and patient and wait until 1070s are $190 then try plugging it to the wall and see what happens as I control it with my mind.

Yeah i know it's often needed to upgade video card, but all i want is at least 720p or 1080p if possible with 60fps, and i think the 1050 is capable of that. I don't need 4k because my monitor isn't 4k and i don't need to play in ultra settings because when i play i don't focus on how to background is detailed, i focus on the foreground and if i can see what's going on, that's enough for me.

When i hit the power button, the case and CPU fans moves for like less than a quarter of second, the case light still on, but nothing otherwise. I've removed GPU and disconnected Satas fros motherboard and psu. I dont think i have the remove the ram since i know its working

I built my computer for $480
(if you stay with amd stuff and don't go for the newest, cutting edge tech you can find parts for much cheaper)
an FX-8370 for $130
Amd RX 480 for ~$200 give or take 20 bucks
8 GB RAM for $30
Any AM3+ motherboard ~$60
Any okay PSU ~$50

I can run GTAV at high to max settings at 60 FPS
Cemu is not an issue to run at all

building a computer isn't hard, it's just trying to buy the best value parts for the price

Just curious but where did you find 8GB of RAM for only $30?

Cause RAM prices are still completely outrageous.

There's the problem. RMA the PSU and see if you can borrow a working one from a friend to check other components.
Agreed, it sounds like the PSU's short-circuit protection is being tripped. Although, check that none of the cables are crimped or that nothing electronic is touching metal or bare wire, because that will cause similar symptoms
