Why would the ARM11 need to know DSi keys? The DSi doesn't even have an ARM11. Does any crypto at all happen on the ARM11?

You really need to pay more attention at TWLFIRM.

You can only forge FIRM signature, and only for boot9 (Process9 isn't vulnerable), this means you can't just forge cia signatures and whatnot so you will still need "CFW". The 3DS isn't a Playstation 3.

That's a shame. Still, cool stuff.

on Wii U nothing will change. on 3DS we have to see if downgrading is still required.

On both the wii u and the 3ds piracy is pretty much perfect.
Both natively installing games to the homemenu. Both near autobooting exploits. Doesn't get much better then that
