I was wondering for anyone who has ordered an Ak2i cart from nds-card.com recently, did you get a hw:44 or hw:81 cart?
They're clones of that helps.I was wondering for anyone who has ordered an Ak2i cart from nds-card.com recently, did you get a hw:44 or hw:81 cart?
id be surprised if they weren't clone tbh..The new and real ones have HWID 81.
Anything else is either too old (2009 era) or a fake/clone.
Fakes/clones do not work with the latest official firmware or AKAIO
Anyone can read this link for more information
I trust nds-card.com is not selling fakes/clones, that would damage their business.
Same. Afaik official acekard products are long gone. The original company vanished.id be surprised if they weren't clone tbh..

Well, based on the product images on their website and this article, they are indeed clones. As others have said, this is no surprise given legit AceKards are no longer being manufactured.I trust nds-card.com is not selling fakes/clones, that would damage their business.
They work as intended, I have one myself. Just be aware you can't use the latest firmware, as I think they'll brick if you do (the cart, not the console).Acekard 2i Front Panel Difference
Users can tell the differences below.
(1) Letter "a" in both acekard and website www.acekard.com;
(2) Bold printing "DSi Compatible" in fake acekard card;
(3) Number "2" printed lighter in clone acekard cards;
(4) Rough workmanship if not original;

I think the first picture is not accurate,as the actual genuine cards have stickers just like the card marked as fake.Well, based on the product images on their website and this article, they are indeed clones.
