Nintendo, known for their intense final Direct announcements revealed that one of their major IPs, Animal Crossing, would be heading to the Switch. The announcement came as a rollercoaster ride for fans, initially teasing Isabelle for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and then dropping the announcement suddenly at the end. No further details were given other than a 2019 release date.

Telling me!! I was hyped when it popped up and then to say it was for Smash left me deflated... and then the upper immediately followed and I was super excited!! I must be one of the few people that arent interested in smash!

Yeah, I'm usually pretty interested in smash, but its gotten old for me. Have been playing it since Brawl. Ultimate just doesnt interest me much. I would much rather here about other things (*cough* *cough* animal crossing).
