Well, you can at least play Breath Of The Wild , Bomberman and 1-2-Switch on it. And that's pretty much all you can do until whenever something interesting gets released. And no, we don't know when that will happen.

I went to the gamestop store, and I saw Nintendo Switch inkl. Super Mario Odyssey and I thought it might come with OS 4.x, I refused and ended up in another store, called Fust (fust. Ch)

Now, I do not know about my fate at 1.0

Mario Kart 8 should be playable on 1.0. You won´t be able to play online without an update.

Of course, be mindful of the possibility that these games could have newer revisions, which include higher firmwares on them. Although I haven't heard of that being an actual issue so far...

I have the Binding of Isaac, Mk8, Disgaea 5 and Zelda. BoI has become my most played game on the switch. Some say its overpriced but its the same cost on steam because the switch version includes all dlc.. of course steam does have steam sales so, yes, you CAN get it cheaper on pc.

1.0.0 is the best firmware for long term hax -- others may end up being effectively as good as bugs get found in time, but 1.0.0 is definitely the best call if you can swing it.

Even if I weren't trying to stay on 3.0.0, I don't know if I would have bought Mario Odyssey. So, it's not hard to resist.

I know not many other people can afford it but the best option is to buy another switch. Mario is worth it alone imo. Plus the Mario bundle is super cool
