nvm figured it out
and for the fix > for anyone who is like me fiddling with themes etc.
when you run into the same issue , the problem was that ulaunch says to remove folder from e.g cfw/title.
but the directory for ams title has changed to ams/content, from here you had to remove them.
And side note... if you had any nxtheme installed (like my case) you have to look for the folders of that theme inside ams/content and delete only those, then ams will boot just fine..
