I see so many bitching about Link's Awakening's art style. :( I'll have to admit, Link does look a little odd... But, other than that, I really like the art style, and am quite hyped. :D

Thank goodness they didn't go for the cheap and easy route of releasing Link's Awakening on the 3DS using the Link Between World engine.

Here's hoping they create a remaster of Oracle of Ages/Seasons.

As for the other announcements, it's.... fine I guess. Not the biggest Dragon Quest fan but it almost felt like that was meant to be their "main feature" in this presentation.

Anyways, 4 months until E3 so I guess this is all the Directs we'll be getting until then.

Besides Link's Awakening everything was utter CRAP. Probably gonna sell my Switch and replay original Link's Awakening on the Game Boy.

Well, this was interesting. :ninja:

Kinda disappointed the first "nintendo online offer" since the nes online app, and it's a tetris game you play with 99 people at once.

Well that new astral chain game looks cool. Fire emblem three houses the college years seems like fun. But I hope there is a anime to watch. :P

Kinda don't understand why Final fantasy IX comes out before Final Fantasy VII, does square enix not know how numeric order works?

I really hope Mario Maker isn't tied to their online, considering it is mostly online.

The remake looks pretty unique. Reminds me of people that were hating on the WW art style. lol

Since no one said anything about it, it is cool that Unravel is coming to the Switch. I remember people (not here) long ago saying that wasn't going to happen. Seems to be just Unravel 2 tho.

Lmao what a trash direct.

Only good thing is mario maker 2 and deltarune (and yosho).
...And Daemon X Machina, and Astral Chain, and Link's Awakening, and Fire Emblem. There's just no pleasing some people, especially when they don't even know what they're wanting or expecting themselves.

Astral Chain was a game I didn't know I needed before this Direct, but that gameplay looks better than 99% of modern AAA releases.

I sure do know what i want and i had set my standards pretty low for this direct. Still got pretty dissapointed. So much weeb crap, link's awakening art style looks awfuly unfitting. The third party stuff looked horrible (death by daylight and ac3 winning the place of worst looking and running game from the direct, what a god awful frame rate they had..)

You should probably stay away from Japanese game consoles altogether if you want to avoid "weeb crap," and basing your opinions on games entirely on the aesthetic is pretty shallow. Easy to miss a lot of great games that way. To each their own, I suppose.
