PSTV Controllers

Hi guys, how are you doing? I hope you're doing fine.

I bought a pstv console on my country without controllers. I don't have any PS3 or PS4 official controllers.

From my searchs, I found that a PS4 controller its a best choice to use with the touchscreen games, right? So, I was thinking to buy a PS4 one.

But, in my country, to get a PS3 or a PS4 official controller, is so expensive, and even rare to find. There are so many generic controllers with the same look, but works properly on PS3 and PS4.

I found that PSTV is not too easy to sync with generic controllers like PS3 or PS4 controllers do.

So, my question is: a controller that works on PS4 will certaintly works on PSTV (even if with the USB cable)?

Are there any recomendations with low cost? Thank you all in advance.

Yes, I have a fake ps3 controller that requires usb, and fake ps4 controllers may or may not sync with it. Both controllers work in the recovery menu.

Dualshock 4 would be the best even though not the cheapest.

I've found a plugin that let you connect Xbox controllers on vitatv but you must have the Bluetooth version of the controller. https://github.com/Hydr8gon/VitaControl

I use a PS3 6-axis controller on mine with no problems. Clicking the sticks brings up cursors to replicate touch controls.
