This guy told his viewers more about it than the MSM has.
Bruh...Twitter is owned by a billionaire. It has nothing to do with trust. Once a story is in the public sphere they have no way of keeping it from spreading. The bigger issue is that public officials from both parties are lying to protect a corporation. AKA lying to protect...wait for it...CAPITALISTS.He referenced the exact same Twitter thread that I posted earlier. And to think, people around here still believe and trust the corporate media owned by billionaires while at the same time railing against billionaires. People have Stockholm syndrome with the media and they can't get out of the narratives that they spin.
Bruh... Twitter is a platform. Elon doesn't edit what people post on there. WaPo is owned by a billionaire and employs many editors to lie to us every single day about every single story.Bruh...Twitter is owned by a billionaire. It has nothing to do with trust. Riiight...he just bans them for disagreeing with his dumbass political opinions. Man was practically sitting in Rupert Murdoch's lap at the Super Bowl.Bruh... Twitter is a platform. Elon doesn't edit what people post on there.
I can't prove that relentless pursuit of short-term profit causes problems like this in the long term? You've literally been helping to make that case throughout the whole thread. Or are you now arguing in favor of the Biden administration's strike busting actions?Yes, if we were a socialist nation, we wouldn't be having all of these environmental catastrophes happening all around the nation. Yet, you can't prove that statement.
He doesn't ban people either. Keith Olbermann still has his account.Riiight...he just bans them for disagreeing with his dumbass political opinions. Man was practically sitting in Rupert Murdoch's lap at the Super Bowl.
I'm just saying that Biden and Booty Judge aren't doing much to make sure this mess is cleaned up. Isn't that what the EPA is supposed to be doing? Where's FEMA?I can't prove that relentless pursuit of short-term profit causes problems like this in the long term? You've literally been helping to make that case throughout the whole thread. You are assuming and using emotion. You always do this to try to prove a point. And it fails every single time.Socialism would mean the workers control Norfolk Southern, and you'd have to be an idiot to suggest they'd risk their own health and safety, or that of their communities, to get dangerous chemicals to their destination a day or two sooner. That shit comes from the demands of the owners and shareholders, useless leeches on society.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Twitter is a private company, right? That's what I've been told going on 6 years now. Did something change?https://www.businessinsider.com/twi...s-musk-ordered-leftwing-account-freeze-2023-1
Yeah about that
"A leaked internal Twitter message appears to show that Elon Musk directly ordered staff to suspend a left-wing activist's account on the social-media platform."
Delusional. He didn't buy Twitter for nothing, narcissists like him always need to feel like they're in control. He doesn't ban people either.
The CDC is being deployed after DeWine (finally) requested federal assistance. This is and always has been a bipartisan shitshow.I'm just saying that Biden and Booty Judge aren't doing much to make sure this mess is cleaned up. Isn't that what the EPA is supposed to be doing? Where's FEMA?
No, I'm using facts. It's not my fault that you're clueless about the actual definition of socialism. Even just more socialist (worker-centric) policy would've prevented this disaster, as infrastructure maintenance would've been given higher priority. You are assuming and using emotion.
Delusional? Does Keith Olbermann have an active account or not? Easy enough question even you can answer it.Delusional. He didn't buy Twitter for nothing, narcissists like him always need to feel like they're in control.
What's the CDC gonna do? Jab people for Covid against their will? The CDC is being deployed after DeWine (finally) requested federal assistance. This is and always has been a bipartisan shitshow.
Show me proof that this is true. No, I'm using facts. It's not my fault that you're clueless about the actual definition of socialism. Even just more socialist (worker-centric) policy would've prevented this disaster, as infrastructure maintenance would've been given higher priority.
Oh your not wrong.Correct me if I'm wrong, but Twitter is a private company
Which is a factually incorrect statement given that he ordered his employees to ban someone he didn't like directly. He doesn't ban people either.

So instead of staying on topic and talking about Biden denying federal aid to Ohio and Booty Judge's complete failure as Transportation Secretary, you'd rather beat off talking about how some violent leftwing KLANtifa guy got banned from Twitter. This totally checks out with your comment history. You can't even face me in the abortion thread where I destroyed your hypothetical scenario. Hahahahahaha!!!Oh your not wrong.
Your just really wrong about what you initially said.

There was another train derailment in Houston, Texas:
Just coincidence? Okay...

Biden already signed an infrastructure bill.Of course it's not coincidence, most of our infrastructure is 60+ years old and has barely been maintained. Does anyone here actually believe Republicans will vote for an infrastructure revitalization bill proposed by the Biden administration, though? The cost of fixing/rebuilding everything that requires it would be in the billions, if not hundreds of billions, and the only thing congress can seem to agree to spend that much money on is the military.
This isn't to say Norfolk Southern doesn't deserve their lion's share of the blame, of course. They use skeleton crews working overly-long hours and in unsafe conditions. Just another greedy, short-sighted corporation.
Yeah I thought I remembered hearing about that. Good that it's in progress then, but these are massive projects that take a lot of time, we can't expect them to have an instant effect.Biden already signed an infrastructure bill.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...act-sheet-the-bipartisan-infrastructure-deal/
Yes, and I remember several new projects starting up in my area immediately afterward. They were all finished years ago, but there still wasn't enough funding to address the problems with much of our older infrastructure.Obama signed an infrastructure bill too. Remember when him and his media sycophants claimed those were shovel ready projects?
Ten billion is a drop in the bucket, especially if most of it went to commuter railways. I doubt even Biden's bill added enough funding to fix everything that needs it, but we'll see.Other items in the bill also don’t include the means to pay for them, including more than $10 billion over five years for Amtrak and other rail programs
Certainly a lot more progress could've been made by now if Trump had actually done anything during one of a hundred weeks he declared to be "infrastructure week." However, when one specific corporation is involved in back-to-back derailments, almost all responsibility and blame should rightly fall on them. Norfolk Southern are prioritizing short-term profit over long-term safety and stability, and I hope everyone affected by these disasters sues them into oblivion.Who you gonna blame now? Is this Trump's fault?
