have you watched that movie "white man can't jump" ?

i've heard this word "harlem" a few times in reference to basketball themed things, and i wikied and dictionaried it and the most relevant description was some american predominantly black town. I don't even know who the globetrotters are, but is that where they are based? or has this world harlem taken on a new meaning?

Harlem is a district in new york city where there are a heavy concentration of african americans. The reason they are called the Harlem Globetrotters is because there were 5 black basketball players that were very talented but were not able to play in the NBA. So they're basically a bunch of brothas who show off lol I've seen the show down here in Alabama and they're pretty cool to watch. They're mostly about flair than winning.
