I was able to fix my problem by downgrading TCP gecko to version 2.5 -- specifically to the patch that fixed the SSB4 crash from 2017.
This trainer works great. Thanks a bunch, it gave me a bunch of time back from doing these boring and tedious challenges. Also, glad to get an advantage with the smash 4 challenges that basically require a bunch of luck to pull off.

Thank you for sharing, I was having the same issue in 2024. The Nintendo Network may be gone but the games themselves remain to be played and hacked for years to come.

You're right about many of the challenges being repetitive and reliant on luck too. Thanks to the authors of the tools as well. I'm sure they will remain useful for years to come.
