Video game characters you don't like

Are Pokémon the only characters you hate?
Do you have somebody from other franchises as well?

It's not even like I hate every Pokemon, I love most Pokemon and it's just that the switch generation introduced several new Pokemon that ruined the game.

I can't think of other characters who I think are designed badly from other games, maybe it's because I don't play the Switch games at all and retro characters are just too good

I was expecting this misunderstanding to happen.

I did not say "do you hate Pokémon" as a whole, I was just curious if there are other characters from other game series aside from those you mentioned (all of whom are Pokémon).

Worth to mention, also, that I'm not respectful AT ALL when it comes to Pokémon-only fans.

Call of Doodie: Modern Borefare characters, all of whom are written to be 'ùber cool' or 'edgy' and just end up as wannabe cool types.

Black Ops characters were awesome though, Woods, Bowman, Mason were badass SOG types.

Cloud (FF7) and Squall (FF8) = miserable teenage angst ridden little feckers... any game with a certain amount of narrative really needs a protagonist that doesn't piss me off. FFVII just about got away with it back on its release, perhaps mainly due to being so fresh at the time. Playing it these days for the first time though, I wouldn't have made it haha....
FFVIII can just fukkin do one...

So, related, but more recent titles that spring to mind:

Sergey whats-his-face in Atomic Heart, and Frey in Forspoken.....*shudder* - Don't really think either game was actually that good in the first place, but oh boy did these 2 stop me from finding out..
