i use the hosts file. No website can block that lol. The ad place holders are either gone or says cant connect.

If anyone wants the file let me know. I created it myself from looking at a sites code to get the ad urls..

Yeah but for example some places might display it as some kind of connection error, and what you really want is for it to seem like it isn't there.
That doesn't bother me at all.

Ad-blockers have become very popular as sites are often uncomfortable to view with ads.
I actually have GBATemp whitelisted because I want to support the site.
I'm using NanoAdblocker with a lot of additional filter lists. It's a modified version of uBlock.
The only reason I'm using NanoAdblocker and not uBlock is that NanoAdblocker can bypass a lot of sites that would normally detect your ad-blocker.
What ad-blocker are you using? Do you have any peculiar filter lists?
I use ABP with normal filters and the extension icon shows no ads on gbatemp

Im surprised no one has mentioned that firefox just took a huge dump.

Just the other day, Firefox let it's Certificate expire, ALL add-ons, extensions, and themes have moved to "legacy"
meaning nothing is supported for firefox anymore.. everything i click on says connection error, failed to install or w/e.

I don't get why they let the certificate expire..

is anyone else experiencing this?

Install the update issued yesterday by Mozilla. It fixes everything.

ublock, nanodefender and privacy badger (I don't trust Ghostry since it's owned by a market firm)
