That's not how this works. That's not how ANY of this works.

You modify your system, you run the risk of getting banned. Installing emunand counts.

the point in emunand is to preserve having a low firmware sysnand in place. As the lower the firmware, there are more exploits. The early goal is to have a cold/warmboot exploit that is tetherless so you don't have to rely on a jig and a usb cable every time your system goes off

Anyway with emunand I can keep the dream of someday having a cold boot hack for 3.02 even though I know is a lot harder than below...

And also I know emunand is most likely 99% safe, so I can just use it offline and never get banned and later if I ever want to update I just remove the M-SD emunand and update sysnand.

If you actually read what he said, he said that the EmuNAND is to keep lower firmware, which is useful to have coldboot. He never said that the EmuNAND was used for coldboot.
