Mario 64 is better because it's broken. ;P I can't BLJ in Odyssey. Also one could easily argue that OoT is better than BotW.. I mean, the story was all there.... at the least.

People have their own opinions, but I see what you're getting at.
Seems a bit contradictory to what you just said, don't you think? Mayhaps you think that only because of your nostalgia?

Sounds nice. Maybe I'll finally try this game for real.

No it won't be...it's a 7 year old game and it's available on 4 different platforms already.

It's actually been confirmed the Switch version is still running at 30fps, and 720p in portable mode which is the same as the original. 1080p in docked mode though.

And still that's not enough to placate the graphics fanboys. *sigh* C'est la vie.

Don't take it with us. fromsoft could have nailed gameplay mechanics and all that, but the technical aspect of the whole series isn't anything to praise.

1080p docked may seem good, but add the framerate dips that will have and suddenly 1080p isn't as good as it sound.

The original game has framerate issues because of the way the engine handles loading certain parts of the worlds. This is why the entire Upper Blighttown area has massive framedrops in every release, including the subpar PC version (but this can be fixed using DSFix).

Unless From decided to completely rewrite the way the engine works (hint: They didn't), it's almost guaranteed to have the same issues in this remaster.

    >I say the whole series
    >the switch version is the whole series
ps3, x360, pc, ps4, xbone all have had problems in one way or another with a dsouls game.
ps3 and x360 had terrible framerates in certain areas of the game (blighttown anyone?). same for demon's souls on ps3 when something as simple as rolling in a group of crates can dip the fps to single digits for a second or two.
ps4 and xbone dark souls 2 sotfs has the infamous glitch that wear out the equipment twice as fast because the game runs at 60fps when was meant to run at 30fps.
I haven't seen much of dark souls 3 to talk but I'm sure there are some problems there too.
bloodborne also has dips, not as pronounced, but are definitely there.

based on my evidence the switch version will have some of these problems in one way or another.
