Umm, that's practically unheard of.

So far there's only been 1 instance where someone has been banned that never used SX OS or LayeredFS. Obviously I can't make any guarantees, but I'd say you're probably safe at least in the short term if all you're doing is using homebrew emulators and backing up saves, at least for offline games.
That person also cleared error logs on 5.X which is not considered safe.

Really, i think one of the biggest problems in literally ALL homebrew scenes is the incredible divergency that there is. There's always these two groups of people fighting eachother for which is the best CFW/Modification/Technical Issue/Anything. I'm not saying that everyone should invite eachother into the other's projects and become a big, giant single snowball, but many homebrew scenes boil down to who can deliver it faster, better, and who can derail eachother's project faster.

I really do like Rei's approach here. Because it's not really "backfiring" or being provocative in any kind of way really, at least in my vision. Rei's just "hey this is my cfw, use if you want!!!" without really comparisons or anything. I do really appreciate both RS team's and TX's overall work, and it's really interesting, but treating a homebrew scene as a rivalry isn't really the kind of good thing, since we are all quite looking to do the same kind of thing - homebrew our switchs' up.

Right, although I've been clearing my logs ever since I heard that nx-dreport existed. No ban yet, and I know there's at least one other person on these forums in the same predicament.

Hey I just downloaded ReiNX but I'm a little confused about where to put the files. Specifically these ones:

I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out eventually but if anyone can help me out let me know.

Cheers

I don’t have it so I can’t test it out, but I assume that you just put that whole reiNX folder on the root of your SD

Yes, yes. Rei is our Switch hacking savior, but please keep the topic from derailing. All you weebs are welcome to go discuss your anime in the TV section, or a trash can, depending on which series. Keep discussion to the hacking and exploit side of things.
Chary is our GBATemp modding savior confirmed

so for those beta testers, does it work? like how is the backup loading process? is it just like sx os,, open the title in the homebrew and the game will be in the home menu?
