Press the minus button until the controls go back to the way you had it

Ah that's amazing, fixed it straight away. Thanks so much. I was wondering why the controls were so weird, haha.

On a side note, who would need the controls to be changed that way? I can't imagine wanting the B button to be on Y, lol.

EDIT: Just thought about it.. Guess it makes it more like a real Gamecube controller, it's been nearly 11 years since I last used one so I totally forgot B was on the left, lmao!

Regards.

@Cyan : The option "passthrough", if enabled, allow the Wii Remotes to be used alongside the Gamepad. For the Gamepad disable in Wiivc Injector GUI, I think it disable the Gamepad in the "meta.xml" file.

I also have lots of problems with this GUI version and I don't use it because these random bugs are annoying, that's why I've made my own script version but it's in french.

For homebrew manual inject, you need the homebrew base folder (I don't have the link to download it, sory), the Rythm Heaven Fever base folder, Wit and Nuspacker.
- First, you copy your dol file into the "sys" folder of the homebrew base folder and rename it "main.dol".
- After you edit the "app.xml" and the "meta.xml" of Rythm Heaven Fever to your need (enable the Gamepad, name your game, edit the Title ID...).
- Use Wit to pack your homebrew base folder as an iso and use it again to extract "ticket.bin" and "tmd.bin" of the created iso.
Code:
wit_bin\wit.exe extract game.iso --psel data --files +tmd.bin --files +ticket.bin --dest where_you_want\ -vv1
- Rename "ticket.bin" to "rvlt.tik" and "rvlt.bin" to "rvlt.tmd" and place it into the "code" dirrectory of the Rythm Heaven Feever folder.
- Use NFS2ISO2NFS to convert the iso.
Code:
nfs2iso2nfs.exe -enc -homebrew -passthrough -iso "game.iso"
- Move the "nfs" files into the "content" folder of the Rythm Heaven Fever base dirrectory (delete the one witch are present into this folder before moving the new ones) and pack your Rythm Heaven Fever folder with Nuspacker.

I think with that you can test easily your modifications to USB Loader GX.

Hope this can help you.

Can Wii VC wads be injected, or just ISOs? assuming vWii title nand launcher is just forwarder.

No, wad files can't be injected in a wii VC. The only thing witch is possible with a wad file is to install it on the v-wii nand and create a Wiivc Chan Booter witch point to it.

Dumb question.

Wouldn't enabling Horizontal Wiimote emulation allow one to play NSMBW?
Haven't tried it yet since the compatibility list says Gamepad doesn't work.
Or is CC support in a game necessary.

What's recommended for compression of Wii/GameCube injections?
Do, do not, tools, compatibility, etc?

Some games I haven't injected yet would benefit massively by compression but unsure about compatibility thanks

The injector already has "compression" in place (technically it's not compression). Only for Wii games, GCN doesn't support it.

I was curious because I already ripped and trimmed all my Wii games years ago. Looks like I may have to redo everything though.

but newest nfs2iso2nfs support trimmed/scrubbed games IIRC, not sure tho, try with a small sized game like NSMBW

I'm not sure what nfs is but I'll read up on it.

When I converted all my rips.. I just used what everyone recommended, wbfs. Can't remember if I used same tool to trim them.
Still have all my discs, to rip them again - worst case scenario.

nfs2iso2nfs is wrapped in the injector app, no other external tool is needed.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.
