Your first folder is correct and apperas to be running correctly can you post a pic of your folder structure,, ? you do have hactools files in the same folder of choidujour dont you ? if so then your keys.txt files is not good enough and you should find another

you**:Your first folder is correct and apperas to be running correctly can you post a pic of your folder structure:
yes, i can just sec..

2nd-you**: you do have hactools files in the same folder of choidujour dont you ? :
yes, i have all files into one including all my switch console files together..-(can i do that while doing /trying this process?, or no?).. if no, then what file(s) go where to which folder(s).. and such...

3rd-you**: if so then your keys.txt files is not good enough and you should find another :
what exactly do you mean my keys.txt file isn't good enough?? and find another what??
do you mean like put my keys.txt file into another folder somewhere?,
or do you mean like actually find completely different keys.txt file(s)?? :O

and if* you mean to for me actually find completely different keys.txt file(s) then surely something else i/we must be missing here or simply over looking because i have all the proper keys straight from my console/ and fully populated hactool keys file**.. if my keys.txt file(s) not good enough then everything i been understanding about this whole process is completely wrong then about everything, because that's what they said to do?......

oh btw side note: i almost forgot i did recently change my folder structure name(s) like this for example:
D:/desktop/hactool 1.2.2/example like alot <------------- see all them spaces??..
then i did this later reading somewhere u need to try to remove or reduce the spaces
so i did this:
D:/desktop/hactool1.2.2/examplelikealot <--------------removed all them spaces still same thing when trying
the same commands but still kept my folder intact and files....

pic coming in a sec....

I have sucessfully managed to restore my switch from 6.2 down to 4.1 now!
With much appriciated support from PrEtZaL on these forums who helped me create new boot0 and boot1 files
as I had 8 burnt fuses sleep mode is broken atm but atleast the switch is back from the dead :)

Anyway this switch is now also restored to OFW 6.2 and reseted to factory settings. soon to be sold on the second hand market.

I had a complete nand and boot0 boot1 backup with all my keys etc.
The problem for me was that boot0 and boot1 didn't work so I just did restore of the rawnand.bin and that left me with a blue screen on the switch.

So what i did (with much help from PrEtZaL) was to create new boot0 and boot1 from the guide posted here in this thread on page 2 (sorry can't post links)
I did STEP 8.2 and 8.3 and after that I put 2 files on my sdcard. (hekate_ipl.ini and FS410-exfat_nocmac_nogc.kip1)
The .kip1 in the root of the sd card and the .ini under payloads.
Then i got into RCM mode on the switch and via hekate payloader i choose launch and the FS_410_exfat_nocmac_nogc option.

all done. switch booted up and works :)

Etcher application that I used to create those boot files didn't work for me on my main pc. It showed errors when trying to make new boot files.
Luckily I have a laptop also which I tried on and it worked right away.

okay, if im understanding correctly on this.. you made a nand backup when you already was on 6.2.0 of 4.1.0?..
then restored your firmware?...
or u made a back up of your nand and boot files with Etcher application while you was actually on firmware version 4.1.0?..

No no :)
I made a nand backup when my switch was on 4.1.
Accidently updated to 6.2 and burned fuses so when I tried to restore that old 4.1 backup the boot0 and boot1 didn't work.

With Etcher i only created new boot0 and boot1. Just wanted to give some headsup on the error i had with Etcher.
WIndows 10 on both pc and laptop, 1809 on pc and 1803 on laptop.

okay gotcha...
well i didn't make a previous nand backup before doing an update to 6.2.0 ,
but they said you could still do a downgrade for people that was on 6.2.0 that didn't make a prior backup and without key..
but still need fully populated hactool keys file which i got but still same problems ,???..

Download and place these files https://github.com/SciresM/hactool/releases/tag/1.2.0
in your directory except the .exe as u have the latest exe.. Make sure you have a good keys file and you should not get any errors keep the spaces in folder names to a minimum or none..
