Hardware Were pro controller (splatoon, xenoblade, smash) limited?

Hi!

I am looking for a new pro controller, but not the standard black one. But I can't them anywhere. They are simply sold out. Only a few shops still have them, for a price over 100€. Now I got an information from Gamestop that they are permanently sold out and Nintendo won't ship them anymore.

Is this true? Were they only available for a limited time?

Yeah, they were limited editions.
But you can get clones of them from AliExpress or eBay cheap, although they don't have NFC or hd-rumble, just ordinary rumble

If you don't want the clone, you can get the housing cases on Aliexpress and replace to original controller.

I have my Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Pro controller, but I buy it on Amazon about 6 months ago and I pay 120€ for it (new, obviusly).
